1.The Investee 2.Operation 3.Investment Information 4.FAQ
1.The Investee
a.Corporation Federation Fleet is a long-standing PVP corporation, with itĘs military division currently in stasis for future prospects. ItĘs industrial division, however, is reactivating. The corporation is/was CEOĘd by myself, Admiral Eos, during itĘs two year history. After a long-needed vacation from the game IĘm back and looking to get operations up. IĘm starting with t2 manufacturing.
b.Individual You may notice I am no longer a member of Federation Fleet, but that is merely with this character. I have joined The Movement as a member pilot, but still remain active and in control of Federation Fleet through a system of industrial alts. The CEO character (Haze DuSid) is under my control. While not having been particularly active in the forums, or market discussion in particular, I am held in high(ish) ;P regard around the world of EVE, having FC'd extensively and also handled private investments throughout my tenure as CEO. Feel free to browse through my past contracts on Admiral Eos, you will find it to contain assets bought/sold/managed in the billions.
2.Operation
a.It is now necessary for me to fire up my industrial division for the corporation. IĘm beginning with t2 manufacturing. I already own all tech 2 components blueprints, most of which are perfectly researched. I also own various tech 2 blueprints and transports through which I can move my wares to market places.
3.Investment Information
a.IĘm seeking 2B (2,000,000,000) in liquid capital to be used for the purchase of materials and other blueprints. This investment is in the form of a bond lasting approximately two months. The R.O.I for this investment after the two months is 16% of your total investment. It is 8% per month total, with 4% being paid every two weeks. Keep in mind that the payments to investors will be based on calendar months/weeks after the operation has been announced active. The reason for this being so high is simply because I expect the majority of this investment to come from friends (who I want to benefit from my success and abilities). I am posting this on EVE-o merely to establish the formality of it all.
b.2000 shares will be created by an alt holding corporation TBA to investors. The shares will be sold at 1M (1,000,000) ISK/share to investors, but only after a reservation list has been met containing the 2B ISK in full. Until then, no ISK will be accepted by myself and ISK will be returned to senders. Furthermore, if the reservation listĘs 2B is not met within an adequate amount of time, the bond will not move forward. At the end of the bondĘs two month lifetime all initial ISK will be traded back to investors in return for the shares.
c. For the sake of simplicity - I'm asking a minimum of 100M per investor.
4.Backout Plan
a.If by some freak accident I am unable to continue this operation I will not hesitate to have your investment returned to you in full. Simple enough.

FAQ
1.If you had all that ISK, why donĘt you finance this yourself? When I left EVE, my corporation contacted me with financial troubles. In response to this I gave them my assets (in full) to ensure that they could remain afloat financially. Since then it has disbanded.
2.Is this a scam? No.
3.How can we be sure that you will pay us? Throughout my time in EVE I have handled many deals, operations, and investments all ranging from alliance creation to POS/logistics management. I kept my corporation afloat in the hazardous industrial trap that is the Drone regions. There are many who will speak on my behalf.
4.How can I contact you for information? I will answer every and all questions here in the thread. Additionally, I am happy to respond to any questions through EVE-mail/conversation in game. Furthermore, the bond has itĘs own mailing list that will be open to investors: Federation Fleet IPO.
5.What alts you have exactly? Haze DuSid, Prince aikka, and Brian Infernal. Please contact Admiral Eos with any questions, though.
6. What are the specifics again? A 2,000,000,000 ISK total bond investment into my t2 manufacturing operations with a monthly return of 8% spread out every two weeks with 4% each. This bond is 2-months in length and all spaceship $$$ will be traded back at the end of the bond in return for the shares.
Fly safe everyone.

You folks are gonna make me cry First somebody links my NewbieTraders channel and my newbie trading thread, then somebody uses my IPO as inspiration. Really, there are much better and more successful/amazing examples out there, but thanks
It was clear, concise, and seemingly very honest. I hope for you to go far.

I'll reserve 200 shares tentatively.
- I have no definitive exit strategy, and while that is definitely a neglect on my part, I don't see it necessary. I've handled similar situations a hundred times before, and always come out on top. In the event I cannot meet the quotas, I will do anything to meet deadline including paying out of my own pocket and taking a loss.
- To tell the truth, I don't see this lasting two months. What I do see is me offering to buy back the shares early and including the predictive interest as well.
- I can't say accurately. It's dependent on what I am manufacturing.

Just the one who happened to be online at the time.
Edit: Now that I think about it - it wasn't very fair of me to do so. I will have a look at some calculations, and if all merits alright - I will just open the IPO up to you/Kar.

Hello everyone,
First of all IĘm happy to note that the third dividend payment was successfully paid, and I even accidentally ūoverpaid- by about +50%. (WonĘt go into that now)
More importantly, IĘm here to announce a potential change in the operation; this last week I met a hiccup, having found that three of my accounts (all with assets, and the only one with executive access) simultaneously went inactive. Furthermore, my computer network became infected with a pretty destructive set of malware (courtesy of my brother), rendering me unable/unwilling to use a credit card to reactivate them. I couldnĘt afford to lose any time so I was forced to reactivate my accounts with ISK.
This set me back about 1.2B ISK, and given the bond payment is due in two weeksą it makes things a little difficult. My initial reaction was to liquidate my assets and move ahead as scheduled, but IĘd like to offer an alternative option to my investors.
Instead of immediately paying back the total bond, I can instead extend the life of it, allowing me to keep my assets and continue production. And by extension I mean continuing to pay out the dividends as normal while I accrue the necessary ISK to buy back the bond shares. My operation is still very profitable and on-track, so there is no reason I should run into another wall like this. (also given my accounts each now have 60d on them..)
To my knowledge my bond is one of the highest paying about, so everyone can seek to benefit. IF however individual investors are not comfortable with this, or simply need their ISK back, I will liquidate as needed to return the ISK.
IĘm truly sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

Might I inquire when this was paid? I'm only seeing 2 dividend payments in my wallet history under Bearforce (the last of which was on 2008-08-19).
Oops, that was the second one. Third dividend is due tomorrow/the 2nd depending on your TZ.

Originally by: Namco Since you'd accidentally paid out more on the previous dividend, will you be adjusting the payout on this forthcoming dividend, then? I'd assume this would help a bit (but probably not entirely) in covering the unexpected need to get timecodes?
That said, if you wish to extend the period of the bond, without affecting buyback or further dividend (ie, they should be paid at the current rate), I am not opposed to it, myself.
Haha, nah. That was my mistake. Enjoy s'more ISK free of obligation.
Originally by: Dark Tyr Tis alright with me if you kepe me isk for as long as needed, as long as the 8% per month is still paid.
The interest rate would continue normally. Yay.
Originally by: Cletus Verman I am comfortable with this small change to adapt to an unforseen issue. I contiue with my full support of your operations, when decided if an email with the new dates etc could be put out that would be grand. Again. tY for the opportunity to get in.
TY for your understanding. I will. |
